Please note, unless you're arriving on foot, by bike, or on horseback, you generally need some form of motorised transport to get to us, although we can collect you from a railway station if you're later meeting with someone who has a car.
On a map of Shropshire find Bucknell and Clun which are both west of Ludlow and very close to the Welsh border. Chapel Lawn is a tiny village midway between the two, five miles south of Clun and three miles north of Bucknell. The OS Grid reference is SO 317764 from 50,000:1 Map 137 or from 25,000:1 OS Pathfinder Map Sheet 950. For SatNav our post-code is SY7 0BW (also for SatNav: Latitude 52.3787 Longitude 3.0106). As you enter Chapel Lawn from the south (the Bucknell end), Well House B&B is the second house on the left, or it's the last but one house on the right if you are coming from the north (the Clun end). The nearest Railway Stations are Bucknell about three miles away, and Knighton - six miles away, both on the Heart of Wales Line. There are also stations at Craven Arms and Ludlow, both about fifteen miles distant. For train times contact:

From Ludlow go north along the the A49 Shrewsbury road for about three miles and turn left at Bromfield signposted Knighton A4113. After about eight miles go straight through Leintwardine and on leaving the village turn right, again signposted Kinighton. Ignore any directions to Buckton (because it's Bucknell you want). After about four miles go through Brampton Bryan and shortly afterwards turn right sign-posted Bucknell. Drive through Bucknell and on crossing the railway line, turn left and keep going for three miles until you reach Chapel Lawn where we're the second house on the left. If you see the telephone box on your left, you've overshot us.
From Shrewsbury travel south on the A49 and at Craven Arms turn right along the B4368 for Clun. Leave Clun on the A488 in the direction of Knighton and after about three miles, at the bottom of a steep hill by a cluster of houses called New Invention, you see Chapel Lawn signposted to the left. The village is about two miles along this road and we're the last house but one on the right.
From Knighton in Wales, take the A488 to Clun. After about three miles you climb up a winding hill with woods each side. After the summit you drop down steeply and at the foor of the hill by a cluster of houses called New Invention you see Chapel Lawn signposted to the right. The village is about two miles along this road and we're the last but one house on the right.
