Surprise at Pimms and Canapes Evening
Two unexpected guests were recently spotted at the recent Chapel Lawn Women's Institute Pimms and canapes evening. The event was part of a drive to atttract new members and over twenty guests attended including a couple of new arrivals to the village who were clearly real ladies. WI Vice-president Di Slater, owner of Well House B&B, is on record as saying "We try hard to operate an open doors policy, but it's not always that simple."
