From this year we can accommodate groups of up to ten people. This is because our neighbour has finished renovating the stone barn that adjoins our garden.  The cottage can sleep four while our house can take up to six, but we can do breakfasts for everyone and our house can be used as a base for the week. This might suit large families, or groups that want to hide themselves away for a week in the countryside e.g. walkers, writers, musicians, yoga enthusiasts.  We will be happy to discuss your particular requirements and provide a very reasonable quote.

By renting both properties you would have four double bedrooms, two of which can be twins - all en-suite, and a smaller bedroom that has a three-quarter bed that's fine for anyone 5' 8" or less, or, at a push, two smallish adults. We also have a fold-out bed that's suitable for a child.  You can come and go as you please between the two properties, and use the main house as a base. 

A sample costing for seven days would be something like:

• one week's cottage rental = £500 (high season)
• B&B for 5 people in Well House at £30 per night = £1,050
• cooked breakfast for the four people in the holiday cottage @ £5 per head = £140

Total = £1,690

Which works out at about £188 per person, a very inexpensive week away in a lovely part of the country.

Although we normally only do meals for horse-riders because they can't get to a pub easily, for group arrangements we can do meals for some of the nights. For example, a three-course meal of your choice might work out at £15 per head. Di is a very good cook.
