When making a reservation please let us know your requirements and a contact telephone number and/or email address as well as your name and address, the number in your party and the date(s) required.
It's also helpful to let us know
- if separate beds are required
- your estimated time of arrival
- method of arrival e.g. car, train, bicycle, on foot
- any particular dietary requirements
- any information about a disability or other health condition that will better help us accommodate you
We can accommodate well-behaved dogs as long as they've recently been treated for worms and fleas, but please bring bedding for them. Allergy sufferers please note - we have a cat.
Regrettably access to the house is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or with severe mobility problems but we are always happy to discuss particular requirements and we will try our best to accommodate them. However, for larger groups we can sometimes arrange a joint let with the holiday cottage next door and this has a ground floor bedroom and shower.
We are open from April to the end of October but please look at our home page for any up-to-the minute details of availability.
To secure a booking please send a cheque for £20 deposit per person made out to 'P.C Cosgrove Account No 2'. Elctronic transfers can be made as an alternative.
Cancellations will be accepted up to three days prior to arrival otherwise we regret that your deposit will be lost unless we are fortunate and receive a replacement booking.
At peak times including some weekends we reserve the right to decline reservations for one night only.
Final payment must be made on the morning of departure by either cash or personal cheque backed up by a current bank card. We do not take debit/credit cards.
Although we maintain full public liability insurance we cannot accept responsibilty for personal items that are lost, damaged or stolen. We can look after small valuables during the day at the owner's risk. Guests who borrow our bicycles do so entirely at their own risk.
For longer-stay guests our policy is to change sheets every four days. Towels are changed every two days unless greater frequency is required.
If you have any cause for dissatisfaction, please talk to us in the first instance as we will try our hardest to reach an amicable agreement. Unhappy customers don't come again and usually tell at least ten other people.
We reserve the right to alter our prices and terms and conditions without prior warning.
